Partners

APDIM works with a range of partners in pursuit of developing and managing disaster risk information along with supporting Governments in the region to build capacities and facilitate regional cooperation. We work with Government institutions, United Nations entities, think tanks, regional organizations and networks, private sector, research centres and academia.

APDIM actively supports and contributes to global and regional networks and cooperation mechanisms including the Technical Working Group on Disaster-related Statistics, Sand and Dust Storm-Warning Advisory and Assessment System (SDS-WAS) Steering Committee, Governing Board of the Global Earthquake Model Foundation (GEM), United Nations Sand and Dust Storm Coalition and the WMO/ESCAP Panel on Tropical Cyclones.

APDIM is keen to build strategic partnerships with organizations in the region and globally in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.
