The PREVIEW Global Risk Data Platform provides access to geospatial data on past hazardous events, and human and economic hazard exposure and risk from a range of natural hazards, including tropical cyclones, storm surges, drought, earthquakes, biomass fires, floods, landslides, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions. Users can download and extract or visualise the data. Through the live GIS software, users can also perform zooms, pan to a particular area, add different layers of general data, such as cities and national parks, layers of vulnerability data, such population distribution, GDP per capita and elevation, and layers of natural hazards for specific hazard events and yearly averages.
